GM FastLane Blog: Cadillac, Buick Reveals in Chicago
just want to get my 2 cents in - gm, a company and brand i personally chose not to ever purchase again, is doing something very interesting - they are actively communicating w/ their customers, fans and critics via first a corporate sanctioned "real" (for a huge public company) blog and now they have stuck their toe in the podcast pool - testing the water...
i admire them for this - and wish them and other product companies wishing to enter the conversation via post or pod all the best...
i like the fact that they point to charlene li's blogger code of ethics - something i'm sure charlene is proud of...
i also hope they broaden their podcasting voices to include folks like their cto, tony scott, a very thoughtful fellow infoworld cto advisory council member & a great enterprise technology leader...
now i have read numerous disapproving voices - my simple suggestion, get over it - the genie is out of the bottle, whoever and whatever wants to podcast, so be it...
it's a subscription model - if you don't like what they're doing & saying or how they're doing it - do not subscribe...
again, i will never buy a gm product again - but i will listen to their podcasts and read their posts - i will enjoy the "exercise" ;)
