Being paid for working on the society of the future | Nicole Simon's Useful Sounds
"They share their passion, share information and help and many others learn on the way. To persue your passion is a great thing, and I do believe that we as a society can really progress with this atitude, and it is one of the reasons why I am so exited about connecting with people over the internet."
nicole posted about a few examples of the openly collaborative folks that are helping spread the word by being openly communicative change agents for where this net-connected world is going...
it is one of the things i really enjoy about blogging, podcasting & videoblogging - it's global, you meet and interact w/ a wide diversity of folks that you just wouldn't have w/ out it...
it draws you in just like any addiction - but this is a good one - imho of course...
the being paid for blogging part is still something foreign to me, as i'm sure it is to most of the self-funded efforts out there - personally i'm fine w/ it, but wish all those trying to get funded the best :)

I think 'being paid' has always to be a side effect and is not allowed to be first priority - otherwise you will always try to hard and not succed as good as you would if you have a passion for it. :)
Passion first, if you will. ;)
