subscriber supported podcasts

Delta Park Project | A Funny Husband & Wife Pop Culture Podcast with Comedy and Humor! (Portland, Oregon)

"Web Hosting & Bandwidth - Pudding Snacks - Satellite Bill - Movie Theater Popcorn - Audio Equipment - and Dirty Secrets"

jason and anna create funny & entertaining podcasts - we look forward to them every week...

they are safe for teens - btw ;)

now they're asking their subscribers to help sustain the show via a paypal driven benefactor button...

they're asking for $2/month - subscribed guys, this is a model i've been advocating for awhile now, and w/ my pre-existing paypal account it took me ~5 seconds total to do - and paypal will handle the monthly payment to them automagically...

if you like this show (why wouldn't you) then you should consider helping to keep jason (and anna?) in pudding snacks ;)

and all you other podcasters contemplating business models out there - start here, your dedicated listeners are the best place to start, they care & will want to help!!!!

update: sort of interesting that i found this interview i did at syndicate last week via a link from chris and not from rok, who actually interviewed me - the audio is poor but hopefully the payload is not ;)

i am advocating doing exactly what this post is about - help fund podcasts you like, if they ask...

update2: ahhh, very cool - my boys and i made the cut. our review of sith is on this episode. ian is calling "me" a chubaka towards the end by the way - i guess i resemble that remark, and it's got to be better than this reaction to me - 13yr olds are soooo much fun ;)

Comments

This is a pretty cool concept. Subscription models can work, particularly if the price is right. :)
