as i mentioned in my earlier post on this subject, seeking out multiple sources before forming your opinion is always the best way to go, and rob adds very nicely to the mix...

the quote from rob above is great and very pertinent - any business considering social media as a way to broaden their communication toolkit should first do their homework, it can not be approached in the same way as traditional broadcast-based communication...

with that in mind, i should mention that i will be participating in the business smart tools conference - to be held in stamford, ct (my home town) in early june, that will try to introduce local businesses to the concept of social media, the tools involved, how to understand it and make it relevant...

my topic will be - podcasting, go figure ;)
